Kieselstein-Cord’s debut collection in 1972 was featured in Georg Jensen’s flagship Manhattan store. Its success led to the start of an international following. In 1973, Calvin Klein won his first Coty Award, showcasing Kieselstein-Cord's designs on his models. Klein continued to showcase Kieselstein-Cord's designs with his work, up through winning his second Coty Award in 1974. By 1979, Kieselstein-Cord, now a recognized American luxury brand, won his own Coty Award.
Kieselstein-Cord’s work is housed in the permanent collections of The Louvre in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and several others.
