Rare Gold & Wood Trinity Pendant Necklace

A unique and unusual design from Cartier, this pendant necklace features the classic and identifiable Cartier tricolor interwoven bands, as well as the trinity rings motif around the dark, polished fine wood charm. Symbolizing love, loyalty, and friendship, the presence of the wood is reportedly an allusion to the phrase "knock on wood" or, in French, "toucher du bois". The 18K yellow gold chain is designed with several subtle Cartier "C" links symmetrically placed throughout.

The piece has several hallmarks, including "Cartier 1993 © 1991 24391". The piece was made in France circa 1993, and it measures 20" in (chain) while the pendant measures 3.5 cm (length) x 9.5 mm (diameter). It is finished with a lobster clasp.

Onyx diamond, Circa 1930

The origin of onyx is thought to be the result of Venus, the Roman goddess of love and beauty. According to legend, Venus was once napping on a riverbank when Cupid shot her with an arrow to give her a manicure. The manicure ended up creating black onyx because of Venus' divinity. This 1930s ring features black onyx with a semi-floral 10K yellow gold band. The 14 x 14 x 2.30 mm black onyx on this ring offers a stark backdrop to the heavenly hexagon in the center featuring a round rose-cut diamond set in prongs.

The total carat weight of the sparkling diamond ring is 0.5 ctw. Its color is I-J and clarity is VS2-SI1. The romantic ring is a size 7, but may be resized if desired. Additionally, the ring is in very good condition with only minor scratching on the metal. It weighs 7.98 g and the dimensions of the ring are 5/8" x 1/2" in.

Natural Yellow Diamond Panel Ring, Circa 1900

This elaborate ring is circa 1900, but maintains a GIA certificate of PEGL66164701. The band is made of platinum with a metal purity of 950. The vintage ring features a stunning 0.97 ct fancy light yellow brown diamond in the center. The stone is round and in a beautiful old European cut set in prongs. The elegance and romance of this ring is in the diamonds that surround the center stone and continue into a floral motif on the band. A resizable 5 in ring size, this ring is in very good condition with only minor scratches on the shank of ring. The ring dimensions are 5/8" x 1/2" x 1/4" in.

Victorian Signet Ring in 14K Yellow Gold

This Victorian signet ring is full of mystery. Made of 14K yellow gold and a robin's egg blue chalcedony stone set in bezel, it is visually enticing. Even more enticing is the crest seal featuring an inexplicable soldier's face carved into the 2.8 ct chalcedony. A hallmark of "14" with the maker's mark may still be found on the inner band of the ring. Along the band is architectural detailing which was characteristic of many Victorian jewelry pieces. This ring will easily add Victorian mystique to any modern day outfit, just ask Rihanna (a signet ring aficionado as of lately).

The ring has minor scratching on the shank, but remains in very good condition. The ring is a size 8, but may be resized if desired (please note: all resized rings are final sale). It weighs 11.08 g. The dimensions of the intaglio are 7/8" x 5.8" in.

Sapphire & Diamond Palladium Ring, Circa 1942

Palladium is a relatively rare find in estate jewelry. It first became popular during World War II as an alternative to the restricted and disappearing platinum. Palladium is lighter than platinum, making it a great material to use for larger pieces such as with this size 6 retro 2.99 ctw statement ring.

With round brilliant-cut diamonds, this ring remains in excellent condition with only minor scratching on the shank of the ring. Each diamond (color: H-I; clarity: VS1-VS2) is mesmerizing on its own, but even more intoxicating when looked at with the stunning surrounding blue sapphires. Make this piece your signature statement ring and be the envy of all who surround you.

Each diamond is approximately 0.08 ct each, with a total carat weight of 1.84 ctw. The sapphires are an estimated 0.07 ct each, with a total carat weight of 1.15 ctw.

This ring is not resizable.

French Tiger's Eye, Diamond & Yellow Gold Ring, Circa 1950

The lustrous diamonds and two round cabochon tiger's eye gemstones on this ring are combined with delicate 18K yellow gold. The 3.96 ct tiger's eye itself continues onto the band of the ring where it is encrusted by two intricate diamond fringes (Color: G-H; Clarity: SI1-SI2) and more 18K yellow gold. Traditionally, tiger's eye is thought to provide wearers with an "all-seeing all-knowing eye", even through closed doors. Wear this 4.18 ctw ring for an added depth of clarity and intuition. Additionally, each of the 22 diamonds is an estimated 0.01 ct, with a total carat weight of 0.22 ctw.

The ring is in very good condition with only minor scratching on the shank of the ring. An intriguing French hallmark and maker's mark are on the bottom the shank as well, hinting at the ring's mid-century French origins. Two Stone Emerald & 18K Yellow Gold Ring, Circa 1945

This beautifully retro ring features two oval-shaped cabochon emeralds, with a total carat weight of 16.00 ctw. The great historian Pliny the Elder once remarked, "No stone has a color that is more delightful to the eye, there being no green in existence more intense than this". This French-made ring encompasses the oval cabochon emeralds with intricately woven 18K yellow gold in a way that lets the exquisite emeralds truly standout as showstoppers.

Sapphire & Diamond Puzzle Ring, Circa 1960

This 0.27 ctw ring is from the 1960s, but looks like it is from the 1920s with its playful combination of 18K yellow gold and 18K white gold. Together, they make the band reminiscent of a two-toned puzzle ring. The triangle motifs are consistent across the band making the surrounding diamonds fluid in appearance as if they were dancing at a Gatsby party themselves. Each lustrous diamond (color: I-J; clarity: SI1-SI2) is an estimated 0.009 ct each. The focal point of the ring is the elevated 0.22 ct blue sapphire which is trillion-shaped and step cut set in bezel. The blue sapphire is a stark and bold contrast to the rest of the ring, but will easily intrigue any admirers.

The ring is in good condition with moderate scratching on the shank of the ring. Even so, the band also features a hallmark of "18K Italy", proving the well-made ring's lasting durability. The chic ring is a size 6.5, but may be resized if desired. It weighs 4.69 g.

Onyx & Diamond Flower Ring, Circa 1880

This 1880's ring features an assortment of highly valuable materials including 14K yellow gold, sterling silver (purity: 925), a 17.80 mm onyx stone, and diamonds. Freeform Coral & Diamond Ring, Circa 1960

Coral has long been used in jewelry. Even so, Tiffany & Co. ended all coral jewelry production in 2002 and began an "Under the Sea" coral awareness campaign in 2009. For this reason, coral jewelry is becoming an increasingly rare find, which makes it an ideal and sustainable estate jewelry purchase.

This gorgeous 7.25 ct coral statement ring is from the 1960's, and reflects the funky era in its design. Utilizing freeform cabochon coral and diamonds (color: H-I; clarity: I1), the ring is hip and flashy with its 7.37 total carat weight. The 14K yellow gold and 14K white gold band features a hallmark of "14K 585". It is resizable, but please note that all resized rings are final sale.

Natural Pearl Ring with Diamond Halo, Circa 1880

This 14K yellow gold diamond ring is one-of-a-kind. From above, the ring appears simple with a slight baroque half-drilled cut cultured pearl encircled by diamonds. Yet, the ring is striking as the pearl itself is 9.21 x 8.08 mm and sits as if it was atop a gold crown encrusted with diamonds. The ring would easily provoke envy in Julius Caeser, who was thought to have invaded England largely because of his desire for their freshwater pearls. The 1880's ring maintains a "14K" hallmark on the elegant band. It also comes with a GIA certificate of EGL67558701P and is in very good condition, with only minor scratches on the metal. It is a size 6.5, but is resizable. The ring dimensions are an estimated 5/8" x 1/2" x 1/2" in.

Unparalleled in style and design, this 3.05 ctw ring has a hallmark with "14K" and the maker's mark. It weighs 4.02 g and is a size 3.5, but is resizable. The ring dimensions are 7/8" x 1/2" in.

Intaglio Carnelian Ring, Circa 1930

Despite being from the 1930's, this ring is in very good condition with only minor scratches on the shank. The ring has a hallmark of "10K" on the inside of its 10K yellow gold band. The fine carnelian/agate intaglio is accented by the detailing on the band which features a branch motif. Interestingly, carnelian agate is known as the stone of courage in many societies. Unsurprisingly, the profile of a majestic gladiator is carved into the intaglio of this particular stone. Wear this ring into any business meeting or important life event for a spark of courage and protection.

This ring weighs 5.87 g and the center stone is 15 x 11.50 mm. The ring is a size 9, but may be resized if desired. Please note that all resized rings are final sale.

Aqua & Ruby Cocktail Ring, Circa 1950

This retro 14K yellow gold ring is from the 1950's. The ring is sweet in style combining an emerald-shaped aquamarine in step cut with ruby. Interestingly, both stones have romantic histories. In Ancient Rome, aquamarine was thought to absorb the power of young love, while King Edward VIII abandoned his throne to propose to an American socialite with a ruby bracelet with a "Hold Tight" engraving. The aquamarine is 5.0 ct and each ruby is estimated at 0.07 ct. The rubies carry a total carat weight of 0.28 ctw, while the total carat weight of the ring is 5.28 ctw. The ring is in very good condition with only minor scratches on the shank of the ring. It weighs 4.81 g and is a size 6.75, but is resizable. The ring dimensions are 1/2" x 5/8" in.

14K Blue and Diamond Firecracker Ring, Circa 1940

A perfect piece for the upcoming 4th of July firework festivities, this 14K yellow gold 0.61 ctw ring combines patriotic blue enamel with diamonds (color: H-I; clarity: VS1-VS2). The round brilliant-cut diamonds work in tandem with the blue enamel to create an edgy and explosive effect reminiscent of a firecracker on a late midsummer night. The focal 0.25 ct diamond is slightly elevated and surrounded by fluid and vibrant blue enamel rings.

The ring is in very good condition with moderate scratching on the metal, but this does not take away from the dynamic dynamite design or sparkling stones. Each surrounding side diamond is an estimated 0.06 ct each, with a total carat weight of 0.36 ctw.

Please note that this ring may be resized, but that all resized rings are final sale.
